D Custom Stones began with a sandblaster, a pile of river rock and a neighbor who wanted her house number on one. The work grew from gardens to storefronts, fairways, parks and cemeteries. The idea never changed: say it once, in stone, and say it well.
Real stone, chosen by hand
Granite, river rock, fieldstone, slate and limestone from regional quarries and fields. We pick each boulder for the job, and we'll send photos before you commit.
Sandblast, V-carve, inlay
Computer-cut stencils for perfect lettering; hand finishing for depth and texture. Paint and metal-leaf fills are applied by hand and sealed.
Proof first, then stone
Nothing is engraved until you've approved a to-scale proof. If we make a mistake against an approved proof, we re-cut it at our cost.

The showroom has sample stones, lettering styles and finishes you can touch. Appointments are welcome but not required during shop hours.
